Marketing mix modelling, in your language.
Every Nordic market has its own name for the method: salgsmodellering in Norway and Denmark, försäljningsmodellering in Sweden, myynnin mallinnus in Finland. One page per market explains the local term, how it relates to marketing mix modelling, and what has changed since the method was a once-a-year project. Odins is based in Oslo and works across the Nordics.

Buyers who learned the method from a media agency or a research house know it by the local name. Buyers who learned it from Google, Meta or an English guide know it as MMM. The pages above exist so both find the same answer.
- Salgsmodellering (Norwegian and Danish), försäljningsmodellering (Swedish) and myynnin mallinnus (Finnish) all translate as sales modelling: a statistical model of sales over time
- Marketing mix modelling, or MMM, is the international name for the same model, and the name used on the rest of odins.ai
- Econometric modelling is the method family both belong to; attribution is a different thing, and a complement rather than an alternative
- What changed is the form, not the method: from a report delivered once a year to a model retrained every month on data that arrives daily
Frequently asked questions.
Is salgsmodellering the same as marketing mix modelling?
Yes. Salgsmodellering is the Norwegian and Danish term, försäljningsmodellering the Swedish one and myynnin mallinnus the Finnish one. All of them describe a statistical model that separates the effect of marketing on sales from price, season, distribution and other drivers, which is what marketing mix modelling (MMM) means internationally. The difference is who is speaking, not what is being done.
Does Odins work in every Nordic market?
Yes. Odins is based in Oslo and works with companies across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, and beyond. The platform and the English pages are the same everywhere; the market pages exist so that a buyer searching in their own language finds the method explained in that language. A multi-market company gets one model per market. See how the model works.
Where is the rest of the site?
Everything else on odins.ai is in English: the method, the data integration, the managed service, the comparisons and the guides. Each market page links to the places to start. Read the guide to marketing mix modelling.
