Alternatives
The best Measured alternatives.
Looking past Measured for MMM and incrementality testing? If the question is how much to spend and where, with TV and other offline media in the picture, the strongest alternative is Odins: one managed Bayesian model per market, with test results taken into the model. Odins is ours, so we say it up front. Four more options follow, sorted by who they fit.

The alternatives
Five alternatives, sorted by fit.
Measured is a marketing effectiveness platform for enterprise brands: geo and audience-split incrementality tests, plus a media mix model calibrated by those tests. These five take a different route. The best-for lines say which one suits you.

Odins
Managed Bayesian platform That's usBest Measured alternative for advertisers who want one model for the whole budget, offline media included.
Odins is a managed marketing investment platform. Measured starts from experiments and calibrates a model with them. Odins starts from the model: one Bayesian model per market, with TV, radio, OOH and print in the same model as digital, next to pricing and promotions. Platform data and what your team already knows inform the priors, and results from tests you run are taken into the model. When the model is uncertain about a channel, the monthly recommendation proposes a structured test. Disclosure: this is our platform.

Lifesight
Unified measurementBest for global retail, DTC and travel brands that want unified measurement with agent execution.
Causal MMM, geo-based incrementality testing and attribution in one product, with AI agents that can push changes to the ad platforms within guardrails. Lifesight does not state its inference method publicly. Pricing on request.

Funnel Measure
Data platformBest for teams that want measurement on top of the data hub they already run.
Stockholm's marketing data hub, with MMM, attribution and incrementality layered on its own data foundation and updated daily. The three methods cross-check each other instead of sitting in one model. Deepest across digital sources.

Dema
Commerce intelligenceBest for pure-play ecommerce brands that want profit analytics and media measurement together.
Stockholm-built commerce intelligence. The MMM runs on contribution margin and is recalibrated by geo-based incrementality tests. Built around ecommerce paid media, with fashion brands like Acne Studios and Axel Arigato on the customer list.

Recast
Advanced specialistBest for large, mostly US advertisers with analytics teams and daily data.
A Bayesian MMM with time-varying parameters, weekly automated refreshes and out-of-sample backtesting. Built for Fortune 500 and large DTC budgets, with enterprise pricing that is not published.

Four reasons to look for a Measured alternative.
Measured calibrates its media mix model with geo and audience-split tests, and if experiments are the heart of your program it belongs on the shortlist. These are the situations where a platform that starts from the model fits better.
- The first question is budget size, before any single channel test
- TV, radio, OOH or print carry real budget and need to sit inside the model
- You sell in one smaller national market, where splitting the country into test regions is hard
- You want a person to review each recommendation, and forecasts checked against actuals
Tests and platform data, inside one model.
For budget size and the split between channels, the model is the source. Platform data informs the priors, test results are taken into the model, and each platform's own tracking stays the best tool for optimizing inside that platform.
- Priors set in 2 to 3 working sessions, from your spend history, digital saturation signals and structured interviews
- Results from lift tests and geo tests you have run are taken into the model
- A structured test proposed when the model is uncertain about a channel, with the expected cost stated up front
- Budget size and allocation with confidence ranges, and scenarios you can run at any time
- Forecasts stored before actuals arrive, so the model's record is there to inspect

Frequently asked questions.
What is the best alternative to Measured?
It depends on the decision you need to make. For budget size and allocation across online and offline media, with the model run for you, Odins is the alternative we would point to, and yes, it is ours. For unified measurement with agent execution, look at Lifesight. For measurement on top of a data hub you already run, Funnel Measure. For ecommerce profit analytics, Dema. For US enterprise scale with daily data, Recast.
What are the best alternatives to Measured for MMM and incrementality testing?
There are two kinds. Platforms that run MMM and tests side by side, such as Lifesight, Funnel Measure and Dema. And platforms where the marketing mix model is the main source for the budget decision, such as Odins and Recast. Odins proposes structured tests when the model is uncertain and takes the results into the model.
How is Odins different from Measured?
Measured starts from incrementality experiments and calibrates a media mix model with them. Odins starts from one Bayesian model per market that includes offline media, pricing and promotions, and uses tests to settle what the model cannot tell on its own. We explain the reasoning in our guide to triangulation.
Do we still need incrementality tests if we have a marketing mix model?
Sometimes. A model learns from variation in your spend, and where a channel has never varied, the range stays wide. A structured test narrows it. Odins proposes the test, the spend pattern and the expected cost, and the result goes back into the model.
Can Odins use the incrementality tests we have already run?
Yes. Results from lift tests and geo tests are taken into the model. If you are planning a test, tell us beforehand so we can give input on the design.
Does a marketing mix model replace Google and Meta attribution?
No. Each platform's own tracking is the best tool for optimizing inside that platform. Those numbers cannot be compared across platforms, so the model sets the budget level and the split between channels.
What does a Measured alternative cost?
Measured does not publish pricing, and neither do most platforms on this list, ours included. Odins is a subscription sized for mid-market budgets, with the team included and no data science hires needed.
