Server address
The same address for every client and every customer. Also shown in Odins under Settings and MCP setup.
Before you start
The Odins MCP gives Claude access to your own model and data. Claude reads from it. The data work, the model and the analyst review stay with Odins.
-
An Odins subscription with MCP switched on
MCP is enabled per organisation. If you are not sure, ask your Odins contact.
-
An Odins user for each person
Everyone who will ask questions needs their own Odins login with two-factor sign-in. Without one, the connection cannot complete.
-
Claude Team or Enterprise, or Claude Code
On Team and Enterprise an administrator adds the connector once for everyone. Claude Code is set up from the terminal.
What Claude can and cannot do
Claude sees only the data your Odins user can see; access follows the person, not the connector. It never touches your ad accounts. Where your Odins role allows a change inside Odins, such as saving a budget, Claude asks before it runs the tool.
Claude Team and Enterprise
An administrator does steps 1 and 2 once for the whole organisation. Each person then does steps 3 and 4.
-
Add the connector
As a workspace owner, open Claude.ai, then Organization settings and Connectors. Click Add custom connector.
-
Paste the address
Paste the server address, name the connector Odins and click Add.
Server address
https://app.odins.ai/mcp -
Connect your account
Each person opens Settings and Connectors, clicks Connect on Odins, signs in with their Odins user and approves the access. Leave All organizations I can access selected on the consent screen.
-
Ask
In a new conversation, switch Odins on from the + menu and ask, for example: what was media spend per channel in September?
The answers are the numbers the Odins platform computes, with an explanation of what they mean.
Individual account or Claude Desktop?
The same address works there too: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, then sign in to Odins. Anthropic's guide to custom connectors.
Claude Code
For analysts and developers who work in Claude Code, the same server is added from the command line.
-
Run the install command
Open a terminal in any project and run:
Install command
claude mcp add --transport http odins https://app.odins.ai/mcp -
Authenticate
Start Claude Code, run
/mcp, select the Odins server and choose Authenticate. A browser tab opens: sign in to Odins and approve. -
Ask
Claude Code now has the Odins tools, and sees exactly the data your Odins account can see.
Claude Code's MCP documentation covers scopes and project-level configuration.
If it does not work
-
Check three things first
The person has an Odins user, MCP is switched on for your organisation, and Odins is switched on in the conversation.
-
Sign-in loops back to the consent screen
Open a new tab, sign in at app.odins.ai first, then try the connector again.
-
The connector shows Disconnected
Click Reconnect under Settings and Connectors. Tokens expire after 30 days without use.
-
An answer looks wrong
Send feedback straight from the chat: ask Claude to submit feedback to Odins and it uses the feedback tool. Or tell your Odins contact.
Questions
Can I use Odins from Claude?
Yes. Odins runs an MCP server at https://app.odins.ai/mcp. Add it as a custom connector in Claude, sign in with your Odins user, and ask budget, allocation and scenario questions in the conversation. The answers are the numbers the Odins platform computes, with an explanation of what they mean.
What is the Odins MCP server address?
https://app.odins.ai/mcp, over HTTP with OAuth sign-in. The same address works for Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and any other assistant that supports MCP.
Which Claude plans does it work with?
Claude Team and Enterprise, where an administrator adds the connector once for everyone, and Claude Code. On an individual Claude.ai account, or in the Claude Desktop app, you add the same address yourself under Settings and Connectors.
What does Claude see?
Only what your Odins user can see: the organisations, markets and data your access allows. Every person connects with their own login, so access follows the person. Claude reads from Odins when you ask it a question.
Does Claude change anything in our ad accounts?
No. Odins recommends: how much to spend, where, and what to test. Claude reads those answers. Acting on them stays with you. Where your Odins role allows a change inside Odins, such as saving a scenario or a budget, Claude asks before it runs the tool.
Are the numbers made up by Claude?
No. When you ask a scenario question, Odins runs the scenario and the simulations and returns the actual numbers with an explanation. Claude presents them.
Can I ask about the data before the model is built?
Yes. Once the data is flowing, you can ask about spend history and media plans in Claude before the first model is ready.
