Alternatives
The best OptiMine alternatives.
OptiMine is now part of Uptempo, and its MMM is sold as Uptempo Marketing Analytics. If the change has you comparing options and your question is how much to spend and where, with the model run for you, the strongest alternative is Odins: one managed Bayesian model per market, with offline media inside it and a person reviewing every recommendation. Odins is ours, so we say it up front. Four more options follow, sorted by who they fit.

Odins
Managed Bayesian platform That's usBest OptiMine alternative for advertisers who want budget size and allocation answered, with the model run for them.
Odins is a managed marketing investment platform. Where OptiMine measures at fine grain inside a planning suite, Odins answers the budget question: one Bayesian model per market, with TV, radio, OOH and print next to digital, pricing and promotions. Priors are set with your team in 2 to 3 working sessions. Data flows in daily and scenarios and forecasts are yours to run any time; the model is retrained monthly, and a person reviews every recommendation before you see it. Disclosure: this is our platform.

Funnel Measure
Data platformBest for teams that want measurement on top of the data hub they already run.

Google Meridian
Open-source frameworkBest open-source option for teams with data scientists and geo-level data.
Google's Bayesian framework, the most packaged of the open three, with the strongest budget optimizer and native geo-level modeling. You build and maintain everything yourself, and a 2026 academic review flags the default uniform priors as a misuse risk. Free license, paid for in staff and time.

Four reasons to look for an OptiMine alternative.
OptiMine was a 2024 Gartner Leader, retrains in full every month and measures down to individual ads. For a team that plans in Uptempo it belongs on the shortlist. These are the situations where another option fits better.
- A change of owner is a natural moment to compare the market
- Your main question is the total budget and the split across channels and markets
- You want the model run for you, with a person reviewing every recommendation
- You sell in markets where one national weekly series makes priors decisive
The budget question, answered and checked.
Odins runs the data, the model and the recommendation as one managed service, and keeps the model open so you can check it.
- Priors set in 2 to 3 working sessions, from your spend history, digital saturation signals and structured interviews
- TV, radio, OOH and print in the same model as digital, next to pricing and promotions
- Daily data, a monthly retrain and a recommendation reviewed by a person, with scenarios and forecasts you run any time, in the platform or from Claude via the Odins MCP
- Forecasts stored before actuals arrive, so the model's record is there to inspect
- Results from lift and geo tests taken into the model, and a structured test proposed when the model is uncertain about a channel
Channel contribution, 80% ranges
from the posteriorA tight range is a decision. A wide range is a test plan, with cost boundaries.
Frequently asked questions.
What is the best alternative to OptiMine?
It depends on the decision and who will run the model. For budget size and allocation with offline media in the same model, run for you, Odins is the alternative we would point to, and yes, it is ours. For Bayesian MMM at US enterprise scale with a weekly refresh, look at Recast. For one MMM hierarchy across many brands, Mutinex. For measurement on top of a data hub you already run, Funnel Measure. With data scientists in-house, Google Meridian.
What happened to OptiMine?
Uptempo announced its acquisition of OptiMine on 28 August 2025. In July 2026 it launched Uptempo Marketing Analytics, Powered by OptiMine, with a channel-level entry tier and OptiMine's granular models. Uptempo says existing OptiMine customers stay on the OptiMine platform.
How is Odins different from OptiMine?
OptiMine measures at fine grain, down to campaigns and ads, as software you can run yourself or with consulting, now inside Uptempo's planning suite. Odins is a managed service for the budget decision: priors set with your team, offline media and pricing in the same model, a monthly retrain on daily data and a person reviewing every recommendation. The full comparison, with sources, is on Odins vs OptiMine.
Does OptiMine include incrementality testing?
Uptempo Marketing Analytics includes a tool to design, validate and evaluate media experiments. Odins is MMM: results from lift and geo tests you have run are taken into the model, and when the model is uncertain about a channel, the reviewed recommendation proposes a structured test, pulse tests in particular. If testing is your main need, we list options on Measured alternatives.
What does an OptiMine alternative cost?
OptiMine and Uptempo do not publish pricing, and neither do most providers on this list, ours included. Odins is a subscription priced for the budget it optimizes, for companies with a marketing budget from EUR 1M to several hundred million a year, with the team included and no data science hires needed. The open-source frameworks have no license fee and cost staff time instead.
