The honest read

Credit first: Fospha ships fast and shows its numbers.

Speed, marketplace coverage and visible model metrics: Fospha does several things DTC brands actually need, and does them without much fuss.

  • Fast onboarding for real: under 28 days for most clients, by their own FAQ
  • Marketplace halo measurement across Amazon and TikTok Shop that DTC brands genuinely need
  • Daily retraining with backtesting metrics shown, RMSE and R squared included
  • Big DTC names on the customer list, and early AI access via their own MCP server
The difference

Ad-level ROAS or the investment picture.

Daily ad-level numbers are operationally seductive, and for commerce steering they work. Investment decisions need a different altitude: total budget, channel structure, offline media and the business drivers underneath, modeled with uncertainty you can plan on.

  • Budget decisions run on years of weekly structure, not on yesterday's ad set
  • Offline media, pricing and promotions live in the same model as digital
  • Ranges, not points: every estimate carries its uncertainty, and thin evidence becomes a test plan
  • A person reviews every monthly recommendation before it reaches you

Channel contribution, 80% ranges

from the posterior
Search 14 to 16% optimize
Social 9 to 13% optimize
Display 2 to 9% test first

A tight range is a decision. A wide range is a test plan, with cost boundaries.

The choice

Who should choose which.

Ground level or altitude. Pick the one your next decision actually lives at.

Choose Fospha if

  • You are a DTC or marketplace brand and want daily ad-level steering, fast
  • Amazon and TikTok Shop halo effects are a core question for you
  • Onboarding in under a month is the bar that matters

Choose Odins if

  • The decision is budget size and allocation, including offline or brand media
  • Business drivers like pricing and promotions need to be in the model
  • You want verified forecasts and a monthly recommendation meeting

The honest overlap

If your world is DTC plus marketplaces and the question is which ads to feed today, Fospha is built for exactly that. When the CFO asks what the total should be next year, that is the page of the book we wrote.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Fospha onboards in under 28 days. Why does Odins take 4 to 6 weeks?

The calendar difference is small; the work differs. Our weeks go into prior-setting sessions with your team and into wiring offline media and business drivers, because those decide model quality in thin Nordic markets. Fast is good. Verified is the bar.

Is daily ad-level MMM real MMM?

It is a design choice. High-frequency, impression-led modeling gets granular answers for commerce channels. The trade is how much a daily ad-level model can borrow from years of aggregate structure: seasonality, offline effects, business drivers. Ask what the confidence range is on an ad-level number, and what the model assumes in order to produce it.

Fospha shows RMSE and R squared. What does Odins show?

A verification tab: the forecast the model made before the actuals arrived, against what actually happened, week by week. Steady state accuracy runs 85 to 90 percent or better, above 90 for most customers within 6 to 12 months, and 80 to 85 in the early months.

We sell on Amazon. Can Odins measure that?

Marketplace sales enter as sales data like any other configured field, and marketplace media as spend. What we do not do is Fospha's specialty: impression-led marketplace halo at ad level. If that is your core question, they are the specialist.

Can the two coexist?

Yes, the same split as with other commerce tools: daily steering there, investment decisions here. One warning from experience: two models will sometimes disagree on a channel's ROAS. Decide upfront which one is allowed to move annual budget.
