Alternatives

The best Haus alternatives.

Haus is an incrementality platform: geo experiments, with a Causal MMM and ad-level attribution built on them. If the question is how much to spend in total and where, offline media included, the strongest alternative is Odins: one managed Bayesian model per market, with your test results taken into it. Odins is ours, so we say it up front. Four more options follow, sorted by who they fit.

The alternatives

Five alternatives, sorted by fit.

Haus runs geo experiments on synthetic controls and builds a weekly Causal MMM and ad-level attribution on top of them. These five take a different route. The best-for lines say which one suits you.

  1. Odins

    Managed Bayesian platform That's us

Best Haus alternative for advertisers who want one model for the whole budget, with tests feeding it.

Odins is a managed marketing investment platform, and it is MMM first. One Bayesian model per market covers digital, TV, radio, OOH and print, next to pricing and promotions. Results from the lift and geo tests you already run are taken into the model. Where it is uncertain about a channel, we propose a structured test, often a pulse test that works without splitting the country into regions. Data flows in daily and scenarios run any time; the model is retrained monthly with a reviewed recommendation. Disclosure: this is our platform.

  2. Lifesight

    Unified measurement

Best for global retail, DTC and travel brands that want unified measurement with agent execution.

Causal MMM, geo-based incrementality testing and attribution in one product, with AI agents that can push changes to the ad platforms within guardrails. Lifesight does not state its inference method publicly. Pricing on request.

MMM plus experiments · Agentic · Global Odins vs Lifesight
  3. Dema

    Commerce intelligence

Best for pure-play ecommerce brands that want profit analytics and media measurement together.

Stockholm-built commerce intelligence. The MMM runs on contribution margin and is recalibrated by geo-based incrementality tests. Built around ecommerce paid media, with fashion brands like Acne Studios and Axel Arigato on the customer list.

MMM plus geo tests · Ecommerce · Continuous Odins vs Dema
  4. Recast

    Advanced specialist

Best for large, mostly US advertisers with analytics teams and daily data.

A Bayesian MMM with time-varying parameters, weekly automated refreshes and out-of-sample backtesting. Built for Fortune 500 and large DTC budgets, with enterprise pricing that is not published.

Bayesian MMM · Managed platform · Weekly refresh Odins vs Recast
  5. Google Meridian

    Open-source framework

Best open-source option for teams with data scientists and geo-level data.

Google's Bayesian framework, the most packaged of the open three, with the strongest budget optimizer and native geo-level modeling. You build and maintain everything yourself, and a 2026 academic review flags the default uniform priors as a misuse risk. Free license, paid for in staff and time.

When to look elsewhere

Four reasons to look for a Haus alternative.

Haus does experiments with real rigor, and now sells an MMM built on them. If testing is how your company settles budget questions, keep it on the shortlist. These are the cases where another route fits better.

  • You need the total budget level answered, across every channel at once
  • TV, radio, OOH or print carry real budget and belong in the same model as digital
  • Your market is hard to split into comparable test and control regions
  • You want the data work, the model and a reviewed recommendation handled for you
Why Odins

A model first, with your tests inside it.

Odins is MMM. For budget size and the split between channels, the model is the source, and tests make it sharper where it is unsure.

  • Results from the lift and geo tests you have run, on Haus or elsewhere, are taken into the model
  • Pulse tests proposed for channels the model is unsure about, with the expected cost stated before you run them
  • Priors set in 2 to 3 working sessions, from your spend history, digital saturation signals and structured interviews
  • Data flows in daily and scenarios and forecasts run any time, in the platform or from Claude via the Odins MCP; the monthly retrain comes with a reviewed recommendation
  • Forecasts stored before actuals arrive, so you can check the model's record

Channel contribution, 80% ranges

Search 14 to 16% optimize
Social 9 to 13% optimize
Display 2 to 9% test first

A tight range is a decision. A wide range is a test plan, with cost boundaries.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is the best alternative to Haus?

It depends on the decision. For budget size and allocation across online and offline media, run for you as a managed model, Odins is the alternative we would point to, and yes, it is ours. For unified measurement with agent execution, Lifesight. For ecommerce profit analytics with geo tests, Dema. For large advertisers with daily data, Recast. For an in-house build on geo-level data, Google Meridian.

Does Haus do marketing mix modeling?

Yes, now. Haus sells Causal MMM, which it describes as grounded in its incrementality experiments and updated weekly. It does not state publicly whether the model is Bayesian. On its pricing page, additional Causal MMM models are listed as add-ons.

How is Odins different from Haus?

Haus starts from experiments and builds the model on them. Odins starts from one Bayesian model per market, takes your test results into it, and proposes structured tests where the model is unsure. The full comparison is on Odins vs Haus, and the reasoning is in our guide to triangulation.

Can we keep running Haus tests with Odins?

Yes. Test results from Haus or any other tool are taken into the Odins model. If you plan a test, tell us beforehand so we can give input on the design.

Do we still need tests if we have a marketing mix model?

For channels whose spend has always moved together with everything else, yes. The model's range stays wide there, and a test is the fastest way to narrow it. Odins proposes the test and its expected cost, and the result goes back into the model.

What does a Haus alternative cost?

Haus does not publish pricing, and neither do most platforms on this list, ours included. Odins is a subscription priced for the budget it optimizes, for companies with a marketing budget from EUR 1M to several hundred million a year, with the team included and no data science hires needed.
