Alternatives
The best BlueAlpha alternatives.
BlueAlpha runs a Meridian-based MMM with agents and a forward-deployed team. If the question is the size of the whole budget and its split, with offline media inside the model and a person reviewing each recommendation, the strongest alternative is Odins: one managed Bayesian model per market. Odins is ours, so we say it up front. Four more options follow, sorted by who they fit.

The alternatives
Five alternatives, sorted by fit.
BlueAlpha is an agentic marketing decision system: a Meridian-based Bayesian MMM refit weekly, incrementality testing, and agents that execute approved moves. These five take a different route. The best-for lines say which one suits you.

Odins
Managed Bayesian platform That's usBest BlueAlpha alternative for advertisers who want the budget decision made in one model, offline media included.
Odins is a managed marketing investment platform. Like BlueAlpha, it is a Bayesian marketing mix model. The difference is scope: one model per market with TV, radio, OOH and print next to digital, pricing and promotions in the same model, and priors set with your team in 2 to 3 working sessions. Data flows in daily and scenarios and forecasts are yours to run any time; the model is retrained monthly, and a person reviews each recommendation. Disclosure: this is our platform.

Recast
Advanced specialistBest for large, mostly US advertisers with analytics teams and daily data.
A Bayesian MMM with time-varying parameters, weekly automated refreshes and out-of-sample backtesting. Built for Fortune 500 and large DTC budgets, with enterprise pricing that is not published.

Lifesight
Unified measurementBest for global retail, DTC and travel brands that want unified measurement with agent execution.
Causal MMM, geo-based incrementality testing and attribution in one product, with AI agents that can push changes to the ad platforms within guardrails. Lifesight does not state its inference method publicly. Pricing on request.

Google Meridian
Open-source frameworkBest open-source option for teams with data scientists and geo-level data.
Google's Bayesian framework, the most packaged of the open three, with the strongest budget optimizer and native geo-level modeling. You build and maintain everything yourself, and a 2026 academic review flags the default uniform priors as a misuse risk. Free license, paid for in staff and time.

Mutinex
Enterprise platformBest for multi-brand enterprises that need one MMM hierarchy across markets.
GrowthOS packages enterprise MMM as cleanly as anyone, with real scale: more than 100 global brands and over 13 billion dollars in commercial decisions, by Mutinex's count. Run from Sydney, Melbourne and New York.

Four reasons to look for a BlueAlpha alternative.
BlueAlpha is open about its engine, refits weekly and puts people next to the software, and for teams that want agents acting on the model it belongs on the shortlist. These are the situations where a different route fits better.
- The first question is the total budget, before any agent moves money
- TV, radio, OOH or print carry real budget and need to sit inside the model
- Your sales history is one national weekly series, so priors set with your team carry the model
- You want your own team to make the moves, from a recommendation a person has reviewed
One model per market, reviewed before you see it.
Odins and BlueAlpha share the Bayesian foundation. Odins puts the weight on what goes into the model and on the review of what comes out.
- Priors set in 2 to 3 working sessions, from your spend history, digital saturation signals and structured interviews
- Offline media, pricing and promotions in the same model as digital
- Results from lift and geo tests you have run are taken into the model, and a structured test is proposed when the model is uncertain about a channel
- Data in daily, scenarios and forecasts any time in the platform or from Claude via the Odins MCP, and a monthly retrain with a reviewed recommendation
- Forecasts stored before actuals arrive, so the model's record is there to inspect

Frequently asked questions.
What is the best alternative to BlueAlpha?
It depends on the job. For budget size and allocation across online and offline media, with the model run for you and every recommendation reviewed, Odins is the alternative we would point to, and yes, it is ours. For large US budgets with daily data, Recast. For unified measurement with agents that act, Lifesight. To run Meridian yourself, Google Meridian. For one MMM hierarchy across many brands, Mutinex.
How is Odins different from BlueAlpha?
Both run Bayesian marketing mix models. BlueAlpha builds on Meridian, refits weekly and adds agents that execute approved moves. Odins runs one model per market with offline media and business drivers inside, sets priors with your team, and has a person review each recommendation. The full comparison, with sources, is on Odins vs BlueAlpha.
BlueAlpha is built on Google Meridian. Should we just run Meridian ourselves?
If you have data scientists with time for it, Meridian is a strong framework. The work is in everything around it: the data foundation, the monthly update and a tool the team uses. We wrote that up in Google Meridian: build vs buy.
Can Odins use incrementality tests we have already run?
Yes. Results from lift tests and geo tests are taken into the model. If you are planning a test, tell us beforehand so we can give input on the design.
What does a BlueAlpha alternative cost?
BlueAlpha does not publish a price; its buyer's guide describes engagement-based pricing with a minimum commitment. Recast and Lifesight do not publish pricing either, and Meridian is free to license and paid for in staff time. Odins is a subscription priced for the budget it optimizes, for companies with a marketing budget from EUR 1M to several hundred million a year, with the team included and no data science hires needed.
