Credit first: Prescient took halo effects seriously.
Platform metrics credit each channel with what happens inside its own walls. Prescient measures what one channel does for another, Amazon and retail included, and updates its online models daily.
- Halo effects measured across channels, such as streaming TV lifting Amazon sales
- Daily model updates for online channels, with offline models matched to retailer data
- A saturation curve per campaign, for teams that plan at that level
- Calibration with incrementality, geo-lift and survey data, plus backtesting on holdout samples
Built for the budget decision, in every market you sell in.
Prescient goes deep on campaigns and daily updates for omnichannel brands. Odins starts one level up: how much to spend and where, from one Bayesian model per market, with offline media and business drivers inside it and a person reviewing every recommendation.
- Budget size and channel allocation with confidence ranges, so the first question answered is how much to spend
- Priors set with your team in 2 to 3 working sessions, from spend history, digital saturation signals and structured interviews, decisive in markets with one national weekly series
- TV, radio, OOH and print next to pricing and promotions in the same model, for advertisers well beyond ecommerce
- Data flows in daily and scenarios run any time; the model is retrained monthly with a reviewed recommendation, and forecasts stored before actuals arrive are checked at each retrain
Channel contribution, 80% ranges
from the posteriorA tight range is a decision. A wide range is a test plan, with cost boundaries.
The choice
Who should choose which.
Both measure online and offline media and both plan budgets. The difference is the level of the decision and who reviews it.
Choose Prescient AI if
- You are an omnichannel or DTC brand selling through your own store, Amazon and retail
- Your team plans at campaign level and wants models that update daily
- Halo effects between channels and marketplaces are the question you most need answered
Choose Odins if
- The first question is total budget size and the split between channels, in one market or several
- TV, radio, OOH or print carry real budget next to pricing and promotions
- You want a person behind every recommendation, forecasts checked against actuals and scenarios you run yourself any time
The honest overlap
We overlap on scenario planning, test calibration and an assistant interface: Prescient offers an API and MCP too. Ask each vendor to open the model behind one recommendation and show how its last forecasts compared with what happened.
Frequently asked questions.
Is Prescient AI a marketing mix model?
Yes. Prescient describes an MMM platform built on proprietary neural networks and machine learning, with models at channel, tactic and campaign level. Odins runs one Bayesian marketing mix model per market as a managed platform.
How much does Prescient AI cost?
Prescient does not publish prices. Its pricing page names SMB, Growth and Enterprise tiers, says pricing is customized for each brand on annual contracts, and says the platform is built for brands spending 100,000 dollars a month or more on advertising. Odins is a subscription priced for the budget it optimizes, with the team included and no data science hires needed.
Prescient updates its models daily. Why does Odins retrain monthly?
Data reaches Odins daily, and scenarios and forecasts can be run any time. The model itself is retrained monthly: for decisions about budget size and channel allocation, a few more days of data rarely changes the answer, and each retrain comes with a reviewed recommendation and a check of the forecasts stored the month before.
Prescient models down to campaign level. Why does Odins stop at channels?
By design. Odins decides budget size and the split between channels, the decisions a CMO and CFO sign off. Inside each channel, the ad platforms optimize campaigns and bids on more real-time signal than any outside model sees, so that part stays with Google, Meta and the rest. If campaign-level saturation curves are the main thing you need, Prescient is built for that.
We are not a DTC brand. Who fits?
Odins works with advertisers across industries, from EUR 1M to several hundred million a year in marketing budget, including companies where TV, radio, OOH and print carry much of the spend. Prescient's materials focus on omnichannel brands selling online, on Amazon and in retail.
What are the best alternatives to Prescient AI?
