Credit first: Paramark puts its prices on the page.
Few measurement vendors publish prices. Paramark does, and pairs a Bayesian MMM with a testing program its advisors help you run.
- Plans and prices on the page, from 100,000 dollars a year for one MMM
- The MMM picks the tests: where its models disagree, that is where Paramark tests next
- Geo and audience holdouts on synthetic controls, with a power analysis that sets lift, timeline and budget before you spend
- A dedicated growth advisor in your Slack, with weekly syncs and quarterly board prep
One model per market, with priors your team helped set.
Paramark runs dozens of Bayesian models and reads their disagreement as a signal to test. Odins builds one model per market and puts the work into the priors, so the model starts from what your team and your data already know. Both of us test where the model is unsure.
- Priors set in 2 to 3 working sessions from spend history, digital saturation signals and structured interviews, which matters most in a market with one national weekly series
- Data integration and structuring included, with offline media and business drivers in the same model as digital
- Pulse tests for the channels the model is unsure about, which work without splitting the country into test regions
- Data flows in daily, forecasts are stored before actuals arrive and checked at each monthly retrain, and you run scenarios and forecasts any time, including from Claude via the Odins MCP
Channel contribution, 80% ranges
from the posteriorA tight range is a decision. A wide range is a test plan, with cost boundaries.
The choice
Who should choose which.
Both are Bayesian and both test. The difference is in how the model is set up and who does the work around it.
Choose Paramark if
- You want published pricing and a plan you can pick off the page
- You want a growth advisor embedded in your Slack, with weekly syncs and board prep
- Your business spans regions or audiences large enough for geo and audience holdouts
Choose Odins if
- Your market has one national weekly series, and the priors decide the answer
- You want the data integration, the model and a reviewed recommendation handled by one team
- You want to question the model from Claude today, and run scenarios yourself any time
The honest overlap
We are close on paper: both Bayesian, both test where the model is unsure, both with people involved. Ask each vendor how the first model's priors were set, and what its forecasts said before the actuals came in.
Frequently asked questions.
Is Paramark a Bayesian marketing mix model?
Yes. Paramark says it runs over 60 Bayesian models per company and reads agreement between them as confidence and disagreement as a reason to test. Odins is Bayesian too. The difference is in the setup: one model per market, with priors set together with your team.
How much does Paramark cost?
Paramark publishes its prices: 100,000 dollars a year for the Essentials plan with one MMM, 150,000 for Advanced with two, and 220,000 and up for Enterprise, billed annually. Odins is a subscription priced for the budget it optimizes, with data integration, the model and the review included.
Paramark has growth advisors. Does Odins have people behind the model?
Yes. Paramark gives every customer a dedicated growth advisor. At Odins, our team handles the data work, builds and maintains the model, and a person reviews every recommendation before it reaches you. Between reviews you run scenarios and forecasts yourself, in the platform or from Claude via the Odins MCP.
Can Odins use the incrementality tests we have run?
Yes. Results from lift tests and geo tests are taken into the model. Where the model is uncertain about a channel, we propose a structured test, often a pulse test, with the expected cost stated before you run it.
How long until we have a first model?
Paramark's home page says you get models within weeks, with a plan for the first 90 days. Odins delivers the first verified model in 4 to 6 weeks from kickoff, data collection and structuring included. Vendors who quote shorter timelines usually count from the day your data is already collected and prepared, and often do not offer data collection at all.
What are the best alternatives to Paramark?
It depends on what you need from the model. We compared five options, with sources and who each one fits, on a separate page: the best Paramark alternatives. Odins is on the list, and we say so up front.
