Credit first: Forvio put MMM and lift tests in one app.
Forvio has built a self-serve MMM platform since raising seed funding in 2023, and the product shows that focus: several modeling engines, geo tests built in, and prices on the website.
- Calibrated MMM, GeoLift tests and touch attribution in one app
- A choice of engines, Robyn, Meridian or its own Causal MMM, picked on statistical fit
- Geo experiments with synthetic control built in, feeding calibration data into the next model
- Published plans and a free trial, so a team can try it before talking to sales
One model, run for you, with priors your team helped set.
Forvio gives your team the tools to build and calibrate models itself. Odins carries the chain for you: data collection, priors set with your team, one Bayesian model per market and a person reviewing every recommendation. The difference shows most where data is thin and offline media is large.
- Priors set in 2 to 3 working sessions from your spend history, digital saturation signals and structured interviews, built for markets with one national weekly series
- TV, radio, OOH and print in the same model as digital, next to pricing and promotions
- Data collection and structuring included, with data flowing in daily and scenarios and forecasts run any time; the model is retrained monthly
- Forecasts stored before actuals arrive and checked at every retrain, and you can question the model yourself from Claude via the Odins MCP
Channel contribution, 80% ranges
from the posteriorA tight range is a decision. A wide range is a test plan, with cost boundaries.
The choice
Who should choose which.
Both take experiments seriously and both answer budget allocation. Pick on how much of the modeling you want your own team to carry.
Choose Forvio if
- You want a self-serve app your team runs, with a free trial and published prices
- Geo-lift testing inside the same tool is central to how you work
- You are an agency or analyst running models for several clients in separate workspaces
Choose Odins if
- Offline media and business drivers carry real weight and belong in one model
- You want priors set with your team and a person reviewing every recommendation
- You want forecasts checked against actuals, with no data science hires needed
The honest overlap
We overlap on the goal and on experiments: both calibrate with lift tests and both answer where the next euro should go. Ask each of us to show how one channel's estimate was set up, and how last quarter's forecast compared with what happened.
Frequently asked questions.
Is Forvio a marketing mix model?
Yes. Forvio is a self-serve platform for calibrated marketing mix modeling, with GeoLift testing and touch attribution in the same app. It supports several engines, including Meta Robyn, Google Meridian and its own Causal MMM.
How much does Forvio cost?
Forvio publishes plans on its pricing page, from 250 a month billed yearly, with enterprise pricing on request and a 14-day free trial. The page does not show the currency. Odins is a subscription priced for the budget it optimizes, for companies with a marketing budget from EUR 1M to several hundred million a year, with the team included and no data science hires needed.
Is Forvio Bayesian?
Forvio supports several engines and chooses between them on statistical fit. Google Meridian, one of them, is Bayesian; Meta Robyn is frequentist; and Forvio does not describe the method behind its own Causal MMM publicly. Odins is Bayesian end to end, with priors set with your team in 2 to 3 working sessions.
How fast is Forvio compared with Odins?
Forvio says a first model takes 30 minutes once your data is connected. Odins delivers a first verified model 4 to 6 weeks from kickoff, data collection and structuring included. Vendors who quote shorter timelines usually count from the day your data is already collected and prepared, and often do not offer data collection at all. After that, data flows in daily, scenarios and forecasts run any time, and the model is retrained monthly.
We already run geo-lift tests. Does Odins use them?
Yes. Results from geo tests and lift tests you have run are taken into the model. Where the model is still uncertain about a channel, Odins proposes a structured test, often a pulse test, with the expected cost stated up front, and the result goes back into the model.
What are the best alternatives to Forvio?
It depends on what you need from the model. We compared five options, with sources and who each one fits, on a separate page: the best Forvio alternatives. Odins is on the list, and we say so up front.
