C5i facts: c5i.ai home, Demand Drivers and marketing analytics pages, read October 2026, and C5i's July 2024 press release on the Analytic Edge acquisition. C5i does not state its inference method or pricing publicly.

The honest read

Credit first: C5i brings enterprise breadth.

Few firms can put MMM, pricing analytics, testing, creative measurement and data engineering under one contract. For a global consumer goods company that wants one analytics partner, that counts.

  • An MMM that models pricing, promotions and distribution next to media
  • Separate products for price and promotion analysis, in-market testing and creative effectiveness
  • The Analytic Edge MMM team on board since 2024, with 3,000 plus MMMs over three years by Analytic Edge's own count
  • Work for many Fortune 500 companies, including four of the top ten consumer goods companies, by its own account
The difference

Built for one budget decision.

C5i sells analytics across the enterprise, and MMM is one line in the catalog. Odins is built for the question the CMO and CFO share: how much to spend on marketing, and where. One Bayesian model per market, retrained monthly on data that arrives daily, with scenarios and forecasts you run yourself any time.

  • Priors set with your team from spend history, digital saturation signals and structured interviews, which matters most in markets with one national weekly series
  • TV, radio, OOH and print in the same model as digital, next to pricing and promotions
  • Forecasts stored before actuals arrive and checked at each retrain, so the model's record is there to inspect
  • A subscription priced for the budget it optimizes, with data integration, model maintenance and a person reviewing every recommendation included

Channel contribution, 80% ranges

from the posterior
Search 14 to 16% optimize
Social 9 to 13% optimize
Display 2 to 9% test first

A tight range is a decision. A wide range is a test plan, with cost boundaries.

The choice

Who should choose which.

Start from the scope you are buying.

Choose C5i if

  • You want one AI and analytics partner across marketing, pricing, data engineering and other functions
  • You are a global consumer goods or retail company with category and promotion questions next to media
  • You want creative measurement and in-market testing from the same vendor

Choose Odins if

  • The main question is the size of the marketing budget and its split across channels
  • Offline media and business drivers belong in the same model as digital
  • You want a subscription with the team included, a person behind every recommendation, and scenarios you run yourself any time

The honest overlap

Both of us model media with pricing and promotions, both use tests, and both offer scenario planning. The test that separates us is a meeting: ask each vendor to open the model behind one recommendation, priors and forecast record included.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Does C5i do marketing mix modeling?

Yes. C5i sells Demand Drivers, which it describes as a cloud-based MMM platform with conversational AI, and lists marketing mix optimization among its marketing services. Demand Drivers is also sold under the Analytic Edge name; Analytic Edge has been part of C5i since July 2024, and we compare it on Odins vs Analytic Edge.

Is C5i's MMM Bayesian?

C5i's public pages describe AI-enabled MMM on advanced statistical models but do not name the inference method, so we will not put a label on it. It is a fair question to ask any vendor, us included. Our answer: Bayesian end to end, with priors set together with you.

How much does C5i cost?

C5i does not publish pricing; engagements start with a consultation request. Odins is a subscription priced for the budget it optimizes, for companies with a marketing budget from EUR 1M to several hundred million a year, with the team included and no data science hires needed.

C5i vs Odins: which fits a company with large TV and offline budgets?

Odins models TV, radio, OOH and print in the same Bayesian model as digital, next to pricing and promotions, and our team collects offline spend from media plans and spot reports. C5i names media, pricing, promotions and distribution as modeled drivers but does not detail offline channel handling publicly, so ask to see it on your own data.

Do we need incrementality tests to use Odins?

No, but they help. Results from lift and geo tests you have run are taken into the model. Where the data cannot resolve a channel, the reviewed recommendation proposes a structured test, often a pulse test, with the expected cost stated up front.

What are the best alternatives to C5i?

It depends on what you need from the model. We compared five options, with sources and who each one fits, on a separate page: the best C5i alternatives. Odins is on the list, and we say so up front.
