Credit first: Adobe tied MMM and attribution together.
MMM and multi-touch attribution usually give two answers that someone has to reconcile. Adobe built a link between the two, and for teams already on Experience Platform much of the data is in place.
- Bi-directional transfer learning: attribution scores feed the MMM, and the MMM calibrates attribution
- Event-level and summary-level data in one application, with online and offline channels in the MMM
- Scenario planning and budget optimization in the same product as measurement
- Built for Adobe's own marketing first, and native to the Adobe stack
One model per market, whatever stack you run.
Adobe Mix Modeler is strongest when your data already lives in Experience Platform and your team runs the models. Odins starts from the budget decision: we collect and structure the data from any stack, set the priors with your team, and a person reviews every recommendation.
- No platform prerequisite: data from ad platforms, sales systems and offline media plans is collected and structured for you, inside the 4 to 6 weeks to a first model
- Priors set with your team in 2 to 3 working sessions, from spend history, digital saturation signals and structured interviews, which decides the quality of a model built on one national weekly series
- TV, radio, OOH and print next to pricing and promotions in one Bayesian model per market, retrained monthly on data that flows in daily
- Forecasts stored before actuals arrive and checked at each retrain, with scenarios and forecasts you run yourself any time, in the platform or from Claude via the Odins MCP
Channel contribution, 80% ranges
from the posteriorA tight range is a decision. A wide range is a test plan, with cost boundaries.
The choice
Who should choose which.
Both model online and offline media and both plan budgets. The deciding questions are where your data lives and who runs the model.
Choose Adobe Mix Modeler if
- Your customer data already sits in Adobe Experience Platform and the Adobe stack is your standard
- You want MMM and multi-touch attribution linked in one application
- You have an analytics team that will configure, train and score the models itself
Choose Odins if
- Your data is spread across ad platforms, sales systems and media plans, and you want it collected and structured for you
- You sell in markets where one national weekly series makes well-set priors decisive
- You want a person behind every recommendation, verified forecasts and scenarios you run yourself any time
The honest overlap
We overlap on the core: both model online and offline media, both take in test results and both plan budgets. The real choice is the platform you commit to and how much modeling work your team takes on. Ask each vendor to open the model behind one recommendation and walk you through it.
Frequently asked questions.
Is Adobe Mix Modeler now called Adobe Marketing Campaign Analytics?
Yes. Adobe's product page says Adobe Mix Modeler is now Adobe Marketing Campaign Analytics, while the documentation still uses the Mix Modeler name. The product described is the same: marketing mix modeling and multi-touch attribution in one application.
Does Adobe Mix Modeler require Adobe Experience Platform?
In practice, yes. Adobe's documentation says data goes into Experience Platform as datasets modeled on XDM schemas, and the product description bundles Experience Platform services such as the Data Lake and Query Service. Odins has no platform prerequisite: we collect and structure your data from the systems you already use.
Is Adobe Mix Modeler a Bayesian marketing mix model?
Adobe does not say. Its blog describes the MMM as a multiplicative nonlinear regression on weekly conversions, and its documentation lists prior knowledge from tests, stakeholders or other models as an optional input. Odins is Bayesian end to end, and we set the priors with your team in 2 to 3 working sessions.
How much does Adobe Mix Modeler cost?
Adobe does not publish prices. Its product description says the product is licensed per million conversions, with 10 active models included and add-ons for more models, storage and data capacity. Odins is a subscription priced for the budget it optimizes, with the team included and no data science hires needed.
Can Odins work alongside Adobe Analytics and multi-touch attribution?
Yes. Attribution stays useful for optimizing inside channels and along customer paths. Odins sets the budget level and the split between channels, and results from lift or geo tests you run are taken into the model. The two answer different questions.
What are the best alternatives to Adobe Mix Modeler?
It depends on your stack and how much modeling your team wants to run. We compared five options, with sources and who each one fits, on a separate page: the best Adobe Mix Modeler alternatives. Odins is on the list, and we say so up front.
