Each scenario starts with the headline number: what does this budget deliver? Revenue, leads, applications — whatever your key metric is. But unlike a spreadsheet forecast, the model gives you a central estimate and a range.

'At €15M, the model expects 12,400 leads (11,200–13,800 with 80% confidence).' That range is honest about what we know and don't know — and it gives the board a realistic basis for decision-making instead of false precision.

The optimal channel mix changes with the budget level. At €12M, you might fund only the highest-return channels. At 175M, you're expanding into channels that are less efficient but still positive. The model recalculates the optimal allocation for each scenario automatically.

This means you're not just comparing budget levels — you're comparing the best version of each level. The board sees what they'd actually get, not what they'd get if you spread the money evenly.

Real budget decisions come with constraints. TV spend is locked due to a contract. Minimum spend on a channel because of a partnership. Maximum digital spend due to capacity. These are real business realities — but they have a cost.

The model calculates the cost of each constraint: how much total return you give up compared to the unconstrained optimum. If locking TV at €3M reduces total return by €500K vs. the optimal allocation, you see that trade-off before you commit. Some constraints are worth their cost. Some aren't. Now you have the data to know which is which.
