About odins
Odins builds Bayesian marketing mix models that show companies the real effect their marketing has on sales. We work with companies like Aprila Bank, Nettbil/Vend, CDON, and TomWood. We don't just deliver a model. We ensure it works, stays accurate, and creates real value for the customer.
That's where this role comes in. You'd be the person who makes Odins work in practice for each customer: getting their data right, customizing models to their business, and making sure what we deliver is actually reliable.
Our data science team builds the foundational models and methodology. Your job is to take that and apply it to real customers with real data.
What You'll Do
- Customize and build customer-specific models during onboarding using a toolbox developed by our data science team.
- Set up and validate data integrations for new customers.
- Monitor existing models and data pipelines.
- Join customer onboarding meetings to discuss their data, marketing setup, and what the model needs to work well.
- Communicate with the data science team about model behavior, and translate that into what's useful for the customer.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with marketing or marketing analytics.
- Experience with marketing mix modeling (MMM) is a (strong) plus.
- Comfortable with statistics and have experience with statistical modeling. You don't need to be an expert.
- Problem-solver by instinct: when data doesn't look right, or a model behaves unexpectedly, you want to dig in.
- Can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical people.
background that tends to fit (but we're flexible):
We’re an early-stage company, so the role can be shaped around your skillset. However, we believe you’ll thrive if you bring most of the following:
- Master's in economics, engineering, data science, statistics, or similar.
- Experience with customer-facing deliveries, preferably from consulting, analytics, or enterprise SaaS.
